Legal Aid Bill / Claim Processing

Our dedicated team of Legal Aid Costs Processors provide processing and submission of LAA assessed claims, to the LAA via CCMS, and lodging Court assessed Bill of Costs with the Courts. Our team also specialise in registration of High Costs cases, liaising with the LAA regarding contract offers, case planning, High Costs Contracts upload through to the processing and submission of the claims and all the way through to final payment.

We work within CCMS on a daily basis, utilising the claim upload facility, to process claims efficiently and as quickly as possible, to aid your cash flow. Our processing services are offered remotely, together with costs management services, providing you with regular File Tracking Reports. This provides oversight of where your claims are in the process and when your costs are likely to be paid.

Our charging structure is based on a fixed fee per upload. Alternatively, for high volume work and/or management of 10 High Costs Cases or more, we can also offer a monthly fixed retainer fee.

We are proud to support the provision of Legal Aid, by working with over 130 Legal Aid providers. We are able to offer our highly regarded processing services, as an extended service, to support the valuable work our clients do.

Having a dedicated team of processors enables us to be agile, efficient and ensure we process cases through to payment in the quickest time. The volume of work we process also gives us oversight of relevant topics and allows us to troubleshoot any issues avoiding delays.

We are confident you will find our service beneficial. If you are a firm who have not yet worked with Bidwell Henderson, when sending in 3 or more files for processing, we are offering your first non-High Costs Case file uploaded to CCMS and processed free of charge.
